Well designed and maintained school grounds can offer a wonderful additional resource  to the teaching and learning strategies offered by your school.  Many schools do not make the most of the opportunities offered by their grounds – just imagine what a vegetable garden, mini woodland, wildlife area or natural play ground could add in terms of the delivery of the curriculum and the ‘softer’ life long learning skills in your setting. 

With a background in commercial and amenity horticulture, teaching, training, landscape design and education, Cambium is well placed to give advice and consultation on the best way to use the potential of your school grounds.

We can also offer INSET training aimed at enabling every member of staff to get ‘on board’ and use your outdoor environment in the best possible way.

   
 

We are now working with the Royal Horticultural Society to deliver CPD training as part of their Campaign for School Gardening. We are delivering one day courses at the following venues on the dates listed below:-
