Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to complete Level One and Two courses to do the Level Three Forest School Practitioner course?

No you don't have to do Leve One or Two before doing Level Three providing you meet the entry requirements.  Please see the Level Three page for these or the application pack that can be downloaded from this webiste.#

Do I have to have a woodland/forest to do Forest School?!!!

Ideally you should have a nearby woodland to use, however, many schools/groups do not have access to nearby woodland.  When working towards the Level Three, we support students in developing a management plan for their outdoor setting which may include working towards the planting of a new woodland.  Meanwhile a wild grassy area would provide a good starting location to do Forest School, and if necessary and appropriate, perhaps bringing in more natural resources from elsewhere.
